As production processes became more advanced, industrial machines also became more advanced, and as a result, both their value increased materially and the role of these machines in the production process became more prominent. In such a way that sometimes the failure or failure of a device causes the entire production process to stop and cause irreparable losses for the company and customers. Therefore, new approaches were invented to meet the diverse needs of companies. One of the newest approaches is TPM or TPM. The purpose of this paper is to identify and rank the barriers to comprehensive productive maintenance and repair (TPM) in a Search and Rescue (SAR) Vessel using quantitative content analysis. This study is important because the implementation of TPM has been a big challenge due to various barriers. A quantitative content analysis involved a systematic review of the existing literature on TPM barriers, which resulted in the identification of 16 potential barriers. These 16 obstacles were then classified into seven main groups by reviewing the subject literature. The results of this study provide valuable insights into the most important barriers to be addressed in TPM implementation, which can help organizations develop more effective strategies to overcome these challenges.
